Product Submission Guidelines

How to Submit Products for Review

The members of the Wine Writers' Circle of Canada meet eight times a year in a central Toronto location to taste products that have been submitted for review. All wineries, agents and importers are welcome to submit products for tasting, from all countries and at all price points. There is no charge to have a product put before the wine writers.

If you would like to submit products, please follow the steps outlined below. One bottle of each product is sufficient although you may wish to provide a backup bottle if you feel there is a risk of a faulted bottle. If you have information sheets you would like to include, please provide 15 copies for distribution to the wine writers.

Step 1

To ensure your product is properly presented, please collect the following information and affixed it to every bottle that is submitted:

• Date of availability
• Sales channel (Vintages, General Purchase, Consignment, Winery, etc.)
• Suggested Price
• LCBO Product Number
• Agent name and contact information

She will compile a master tasting schedule, which will be distributed to the Circle members before each scheduled tasting.
